Talimatlar

Toast the sesame seeds until golden brown.

Turn off the heat and stir in the other ingredients.

Mix well and leave to cool.

The residual heat from the pan will be enough to heat the other ingredients to release their flavour.

To serve, put the zatar in a bowl along with a bowl of virgin olive oil. Take a piece of crusty sourdough bread and dip it into the olive oil then into the zatar. 

We also love it sprinkled over avocado.
