Mix the yogurt and the white cheese together, mashing the cheese with a fork.

Crush the garlic.

Wash and chop the dill. Use 1 tspn dried dill if fresh is not available.

Add the garlic and the dill to the yogurt and cheese, mix together and taste, add salt if necessary.

Put into a bowl or oval serving plate and drizzle a little olive oil on top.

Garnish with a sprig of dill and/or a drizzle of olive oil.

Serve as a dip with bread or crackers or with other Meze plates.

To make strained yogurt use Greek style yogurt, put it into a clean cloth and tie the top. Put the cloth in a sieve over a bowl and refrigerate overnight. The excess water will drip out and you will be left with a very thick yogurt.
