Peas in Olive Oil - Zeytinyağlı Bezelye

Instructions

Shell the peas, rinse and drain.

Finely chop the onion.

Peel the potato and cut into cubes.

Put the above prepared vegetables into a pot along with the salt and 1 cup of water.

Simmer gently until most of the water has evaporated and the peas are cooked adding a little boiling water if necessary.

Remove from the heat, add the olive oil and the chopped dill.

Put the lid on and leave until cold.

Serve at room temperature.

If using frozen peas the baby peas are more delicous than regular frozen peas.
