Instructions

Put all of the ingredients, except for the reserved chickpea liquid, into a food processor and process well.

Add some of the reserved chickpea liquid, measure 0.25 cup but you will probably not use all of it.

Blend until the hummus is smooth and creamy adding more liquid little by little until it is the consistency that you like.

Taste and adjust the flavours if necessary.

Put onto a serving plate and serve with almost anything.

This recipe makes 4 - 5 cups which may seem like a lot but this is such a useful thing to have in the fridge and it can be frozen in small containers for later use.
