Green Beans with Lamb

Instructions

Wash the beans and top and tail them. Set them aside.

Cut the meat into small pieces and fry in the oil until tender.

Chop the onions and add, stir until softened.

Peel and chop the tomato and add along with the salt.

Add the beans to the meat and onions.

Add 125 ml of water and cook until beans are tender.

Serve hot along with some of the cooking juice.

This meal is usually served with pilav or crusty bread.

This meal can also be made substituting frozen baby beans for fresh and tomato paste for the tomato if tomatoes are out of season.

It can also be cooked quickly in a pressure cooker.
